Just thought I would post a quick blog ahead of the final numbers for this week in light of the spate of emails concerning our recent run on the Dax!!
First and foremost lets take a little time here to get things absolutely crystal clear moving forward concerning our UMT systems and their performance on the Dax:
- Firstly there is absolutely no doubt our systems have a very good edge. We are currently enjoying a winning rate of between 60-65% on all systems being traded on the Dax;
- All systems including our UMT go through losing days, weeks and sometimes a losing month. The results on this blog are consistent but far from outstanding. Granted the 610 is absolutely humming along at the moment. However, every other system has experienced losing trades, as has the 610;
- The results posted on the blog are from our live calls and fills for the Dax Core, Simple 2.0 (144) and Eurostoxx50 Core. We do not call any live trades on the Simple 2.0 ( 610 tick) or the Advanced Tactics, except during the European session.
- The 610 (tick) is very, very slow moving strategy on the Dax to trade and produces approx 5-8 trades per day. It requires several traders to trade the system, simply due to the time involved. Our managed Fund trading team actually trades this system every day and it has been the most profitable strategy/system we have traded. However, that being said, we have a very specific trading pla, and a team of disciplined traders n to achieve these results. The system is performing at approximately 66% and requires a large capital base to trade as the losing sessions can be anywhere from 5-95pts. I will be providing a complete statistical breakdown of th eperformance of all our systems in the coming days, including the 610. I am more than happy to share our trading plan with our members, all you need to do is email me your request for a copy. I am also working on a hedging strategy for the 610 to reduce the risk on our pullback trades which I will be sharing with our members in the coming weeks.

Live calls
While we do promote a signal service I would strongly encourage anyone interested in our systems to come into the trading room and spend some time utilising our free two week trial. I personally am not a huge fan of signal services and would much prefer those in my room to own their system and be trading from your own charts, utilising the room to confirm your trade set-ups. At some point, we as traders all need to step up and become accountable for our trading success. Don’t leave this in the hands of others!!
